Anti Ragging Committee

• To keep a continuous watch and vigil over ragging / hazing so as to prevent its occurrence and recurrence.
• Promptly and strictly deal with the incidents of ragging to brought our notice.
• To generate an atmosphere of discipline by sending a clear message that no act of ragging shall be tolerated and any act of ragging shall not go unnoticed and unpunished
• To prohibit, prevent and eliminate the scourge of ragging including any conduct by any student whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness a fresher or any other student, or indulging in rowdy or undisciplined activities by any student

• Ensures that wide publicity is given about the serious consequences of getting involved in ragging activities by display of posters at all Academic Blocks, Library and other common places.
• Ensures that no ragging incidents take place by having teams of staff members going round regularly in the college campus during lunch break and at the time of admissions.
• Ensures that at least one of two staff members is travelling in the college buses to prevent ragging during travel in the college buses.
• Ensures that all junior students are given the contact numbers of the Principal, HODs to report ragging incidents, if any.
• Takes all the necessary steps to prevent any kind of ragging and ensures smooth induction of junior students into the college.
