Research & Development Cell

1. To create awareness and opportunities in Research, Innovation and Development among the faculty and students
2. To promote Interdisciplinary/Multidisciplinary research.
3. To identify the thrust area of research of each department, and form related cluster groups frontline, teams/consortia of research.
4. To generate of innovative ideas and solutions to the academic and societal problems
5. Modernizing the existing laboratories with additional experimental set ups Instruments and Technology for utilizing the lab for research activity.
6. To identify potential collaborators from industry, research organizations, academic institutions & other stakeholders for co-operation and synergic partnerships and dissemination of research
7. To develop, prescribe and administer rules, regulations, policies to ensure the compliance of all research quality assurance frameworks and the research code.
8. To create awareness about filing Patents & IPR

1. To prepare annual research plan, implement and monitor the research activities of the departments.
2. To develop networking and collaborative research of the departments with national and or international institutes.
3. To formulate rules and regulations related to exchange of students, faculty and scholars of the departments.
4. To support in development of research proposals from the faculty members of the Institution for external funding.
5. To promote quality publications and patents of the students and faculty members of the departments through incentives and awards.
6. To mobilize the resources of the departments and to develop corpus seed funds from various funding agencies.
7. To build the research capacity of the faculty members and students of the departments through various activities and the events related to research.
8. To initiate and promote MoUs with industries and R&D organizations for consultancy, collaborative research, sponsored projects, industry and Institute interactions etc.
9. To arrange brainstorming sessions through talks by eminent personalities from industry. R&D organizations and institutions of repute for the better understanding of research methodology and practices currently followed.
10. To keep everyone informed about announcements by various funding agencies like DST. DAE,DRDO, ISRO, CSIR, AICTE, UGC and University etc.
11. To obtain information once in three months in the prescribed format on faculty involvement on guiding students, paper publications, research projects from external funding agencies and involving in collaborative research activity.
12. To organizing conferences, workshops, seminars, training programs. Science day and other research oriented events.
