Research & Development Cell

• To create awareness and opportunities in Research, Innovation and Development among the faculty and students
• To promote Interdisciplinary/Multidisciplinary research.
• To identify the thrust area of research of each department, and form related cluster groups frontline, teams/consortia of research.
• To generate of innovative ideas and solutions to the academic and societal problems
• Modernizing the existing laboratories with additional experimental set ups Instruments and Technology for utilizing the lab for research activity.
• To identify potential collaborators from industry, research organizations, academic institutions & other stakeholders for co-operation and synergic partnerships and dissemination of research
• To develop, prescribe and administer rules, regulations, policies to ensure the compliance of all research quality assurance frameworks and the research code.
• To create awareness about filing Patents & IPR

• To prepare annual research plan, implement and monitor the research activities of the departments.
• To develop networking and collaborative research of the departments with national and or international institutes.
• To formulate rules and regulations related to exchange of students, faculty and scholars of the departments.
• To support in development of research proposals from the faculty members of the Institution for external funding.
• To promote quality publications and patents of the students and faculty members of the departments through incentives and awards.
• To mobilize the resources of the departments and to develop corpus seed funds from various funding agencies.
• To build the research capacity of the faculty members and students of the departments through various activities and the events related to research.
• To initiate and promote MoUs with industries and R&D organizations for consultancy, collaborative research, sponsored projects, industry and Institute interactions etc.
• To arrange brainstorming sessions through talks by eminent personalities from industry. R&D organizations and institutions of repute for the better understanding of research methodology and practices currently followed.
• To keep everyone informed about announcements by various funding agencies like DST. DAE,DRDO, ISRO, CSIR, AICTE, UGC and University etc.
• To obtain information once in three months in the prescribed format on faculty involvement on guiding students, paper publications, research projects from external funding agencies and involving in collaborative research activity.
• To organizing conferences, workshops, seminars, training programs. Science day and other research oriented events.
