Dr. P. Deepthi Jordhana is a seasoned academic leader with more than two decades of experience spanning teaching, research, and institutional administration. After earning her B.Tech from RGMCET (2002) and an M.Tech in Digital Systems & Computer Electronics (2006), she completed her Ph.D. in Electronics & Communication Engineering at JNTUA in 2017.
In her dual role at PVKKIT, she heads the ECE department and guides campus wide academic strategy as Vice Principal. Her portfolio includes spearheading NBA and NAAC accreditation drives, designing outcome based curricula, and mentoring faculty and students.
Dr. Jordhana’s research focuses on signal and image processing—particularly SAR image classification using kernel based machine learning techniques. She has published more than 20 papers in refereed journals and IEEE conferences and continues to guide UG and PG dissertations in VLSI, embedded systems, and AI driven communications. Her current investigations explore ultra massive MIMO technologies for 6G networks and published patent on Multi-level transfer learning for improving the performance of facial emotion recognition.
Dr. Jordhana is a Life Member of ISTE and an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (India). Renowned for her blend of technical expertise, administrative acumen, and student centric mentoring, she continues to drive PVKKIT’s mission of academic excellence and innovation.
